Fight

The winter months and holiday seasons seem to be a struggle for many people. It’s as if hell rains over many of their lives. From having health issues, becoming seriously ill, to losing loved ones and more. They’re all hard roads to travel. 

Yet, that time of year is when we’re told to be merry and be thankful but that’s hard for many people to do, especially when they become tangled up in a web of negativity. Which is common after getting hit in so many directions. They soon become sad, depressed and some feel hopeless or completely numb inside. 

This wears on the body in many ways and causes more health problems for the person. Mental fatigue from trying to process everything happening; physical problems as the body responds from all of the stress; emotional exhaustion created by the highs and lows of what each day brings; and spiritual doubts as things keep building, are only some of what the person experiences. 

Lately, all of these are becoming more intensified and a lot of people are trying desperately to find their way through these trials, now more than ever before. 

But what can help when the negativity of life threatens to keep growing beyond a tolerant level? Well, that will depend on which side you are on. 

If you’re on the outside looking in at someone suffering through a turmoil mess, then perhaps you can be the light for them by letting them know you’re there, checking in on them, surprising them with doing a small task for them or anything else you can think of that may help them during their rough times and days, just so they know they’re not alone. 

However, if you’re the person who is in the middle of chaos, take a deep breath and slow down to get your bearings. It will be a challenge to work through it all but you can do it and there is light at the end of your tunnel no matter what stage you feel like you’re in. 

Just know that everything is connected and if you can listen to your body, it’ll let you know through warning signs before any issues become too bad to handle, so be kind to yourself and make time for your health. 

Some things that can help you and your body to continue forward are;  

· Getting adequate sleep 

· Making time for personal care; (Epsom salt baths, naps, walks in nature, etc.) 

· Massage 

· Yoga 

· Meditation 

· Reiki 

· Qigong 

· Tai Chi 

Anything to relax you and lower the level of stress will help and all of these will do that. 

Sleep and personal care can help calm down the emotional exhaustion so the roller coaster ride can slow down. 

Massage and yoga can give the body relief from physical pain while lowering the stress level and helping the body in different ways. 

Meditation, Qigong, and Tai Chi can slow the mind so it can refocus and clear out the fog of mental fatigue. 

While Reiki can help heal and provide clarity, release doubts and provide inner balance and peacefulness.   

Each of these are great for lowering stress, becoming more focused, relaxing the body and mind, plus boosting the immune system which will help heal the body. 

It’s up to you to make it happen though. You’ve got to step up and begin. Find that source which drives you to push forward and then you’ll receive freedom from the negativity and be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

A great jumpstart to feeling more positive would be smudging the home. There’s scientific proof that smudging the home changes the negative ions and energy into a positive atmosphere, all done with the burning of sacred plants. It’s something to try if you haven’t yet. 

Knowing that whatever is going on, there’s always help and you’re never alone, is definitely a good thing to Remember. But you should call your doctor for any health issues no matter if it’s mental, physical, emotional or spiritual, they are there to help you. Or if you’re the one on the outside, be the light… by being the one to take the person to their doctor. 

After all, staying united is stronger than standing alone. Give help when you can and ask for help when you need it.
