How to Manage and Lower Stress

To Manage your stress level, you first need to realize the triggers. This can be done through answering questions and tracing your answers back with other questions until you’ve reached the true source of your stress.  Once you’ve accomplished that, it’ll be easier to work on elevating your stress levels. 

Here are a few generalized things that can help you manage and reduce your stress level: •Massage : receiving regular massages decreases stress levels immensely and is one of the top leading ways of management. •Reiki Therapy : promotes a peacefulness and sense of calmness throughout your body while lowering levels of stress. It also helps with releasing subconscious issues creating the causes of some stressors and is also one of the top ways to lower levels. •Physical activity : another top reliever, walking, dancing, yoga,  exercise, etc. •Learn to Manage your time : make schedules or plans. •Talk to someone : friend, therapist of any kind, life coach/mentor, etc. •Start relaxation techniques : meditation, Reiki, breathing technics, etc. •Have a Positive attitude : look at things differently. •Use affirmations : I Am ____ / I Can ____. •Build self confidence : Acknowledge your achievements. •Accept instead of control : not everything needs to be controlled. •Get more sleep : Perhaps a schedule is needed with a set time for bed. •Use Organization : lowers unseen stressors.

You may not realize the toll that your stressors are having on your physical body, emotions, and your overall health. Now, everyone has every day stress but when overloaded, stress can cause issues throughout your life within relationships, work, responsibilities, family, and more. Decreasing the level of stress is the only way to get your life and health better. The sooner you start, the better you’ll be.
