
“I don’t have the time!”
The simple sentence of “I don’t have the time” is one of the main excuses people use today for not caring. That’s correct, not caring.
People use this as their excuse for literally any and everything. At least anything that would be good or healthy for them.
I don’t have the time to do yoga.
I don’t have the time to meditate.
I don’t have the time to get a massage.
I don’t have enough time to get Reiki Therapy.
I don’t have the time to cook a healthy meal. (Fast food is quicker!)
I don’t have the time… (blank) You fill in the blank.
Our health requires us to make choices in our life daily. Choices that create a healthy lifestyle or an unhealthy lifestyle. Pretty straight forward, but the choices are ours to make, whether good or bad, it’s up to us to decide.
With every unhealthy choice made, a shift in the health moves farther off balance and soon, you’re not well, having different kinds of issues, becoming ill and not understanding why.
The truth is when you use the excuse of “I don’t have the time “, you’re actually saying;
“I don’t have the time to take care of my body.”
“I don’t have the time to lower my stress levels.”
“I don’t have the time to be healthy.”
“I don’t have the time to heal myself.”
“I don’t have the time to care about myself.”
Which all of it just boils down to…
“I’m not worthy of the time”!
When have we become so negative about ourselves? Why do we make time for everyone else yet, allow the behavior to ignore what we need?!
It’s time to stop for a moment and think about what truly matters. Seriously, just stop! Think about your life. Think about your health. Think about what or where you’re lacking in your life. It’s not always about physical health either. What about emotional, mental, or spiritual?
If any of those four are unhealthy then none of them are working at full momentum or power. When one section on the wheel is unbalanced then none of them are balanced because they all need to work together to be in perfect harmony.
Now that you took this quick moment to realize what is wrong, begin to think about ways you can help yourself get back on the correct path. The path where you’re balanced and healthy. Once you do, you’ll see and feel a difference within yourself and your health.
If you stay in the stuck position of “I don’t have the time”, then you’ll never be whole. Plus, you’ll only be giving everyone else you think you’re helping, a fraction of what you could really be giving. Now that’s some food for thought.
It’s basically this; until you decide that you are a priority, you will never have the time to care. No time to care about yourself, care about your mental health, care about physical health, care about your emotional health, care about your spiritual health, or care period and at the end, you won’t even understand why you’re not well or what is wrong with your life.
Now is the time to make changes, live healthier, be happier and feel the balance within yourself!
