Meditation for Your health

There are different types of meditation and techniques such as mindfulness, loving kindness, and visualization, but the prime goal for meditating is to reach a state of inner peace and tranquility that is beyond the human mind.

Meditation is the creation of awareness to find ones true-self and the experience of finding ones’ own essential nature and enlightenment. Learning to accept oneself, along with each and every flaw, is to become whole. Understanding the true person, we are inside and out, is the beginning of self-love and acceptance.

Meditation is a journey for anyone seeking to improve themselves beyond what is known to be and learning to just be. Through meditation there is a balance that can be found and achieved by one who seeks it.

Balancing each of the seven chakras through Reiki and/or meditation promotes general health and well-being to those who use the practice regularly.

Opening the flow of the life force energy throughout the body helps maintain balance mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Doing this provides stronger health for the human body, both inside and out.

Meditation strengthens oneself and provides an awakening within that teaches the true meaning of ones being and path of development. As this occurs the mind is retrained to achieve focus and is more able to control the chaotic thoughts running hectically through it. Also known as the “monkey mind”.

The benefits of practicing meditation regularly can improve one’s health physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Here are just a few ways:

  • Physically:
  • Relaxes muscles
  • Reduces blood pressure
  • Lowers heart rate
  • Boosts immune system
  • Mentally:
  • Lowers anxiety
  • Reduces stress
  • Improves focus
  • Improves mental health
  • Emotionally:
  • Reduces Depression
  • Helps release & let go
  • Heals within
  • Builds Confidence
  • Spiritually:
  • Strengthens
  • Enhance self-awareness
  • Provides enlightenment
  • Realize one’s true-self

Many dwells on the idea of, in order to meditate correctly, one must be able to completely clear their mind of all thoughts and thinking. This is unfortunately misrepresented and interrupted. With practice, meditation becomes easier and more beneficial to the user. It’s not clearing the mind as people think, it’s more of a calming in the mind that takes place. the ability to not dwell on thoughts that floats to the surface of the forethought but simply allow it to continue to float through and out.

As with anything, understanding before you begin, helps tremendously. If meditation is done correctly, there are no worries or dangers. Doctors, specialist and health professionals suggest meditation to their patients on a regular basis.

Help is always available for meditation. Many people use guided meditations. These are a great way to begin for those who have never tried meditation before or are unsure about it. Some find the guided meditations to be easier. One key… be patient, it takes time.
