Spinal Flow

“Where the Healing Begins!”

This wonderful technique is based on the nervous system. The brain and spine house the nerves which feed throughout the body to supply every muscle, tissue, organ and cells of the body. Spinal Flow focuses on the cause right at the beginning of where the nerve starts, instead of the symptoms felt. Therefore, the bottom cause of the problem is being treated instead of the symptoms.

Everyone has stress in their lives, physical, chemical and emotional. Some may have more than others, and each person will handle the stressors differently. This special modality helps the body regain its own healing ability through working with the persons nervous system, right where it all starts.

The Spinal Flow technique works to find the stored stressors within your body whether its chemical stress, physical stress, or emotional stress. These stored stressors are called spinal blockages because they are stuck in the spine at the nervous system. Over time these blockages begin to interfere with the signal going to and from the brain, eventually stopping the communication between the brain and nervous system to the rest of the body. When these blockages are created our body can no longer heal itself and symptoms arise.

Life is stressful in all aspects and every time the body senses stress or a fight or flight situation it responds by storing the stressor inside the nervous system to protect us. Throughout our lives our body has been protecting us this way, but the more things are stored the less healthy our body becomes. This storing begins right at birth and continues throughout your entire life, day in and day out.

Spinal Flow looks at releasing those blockages by contacting the different 33 access points along the vertebra where the meninges attach. There are three layers of the meninges which are the Dura mater, Arachnoid mater, and the Pia mater. When a trained Spinal Flow practitioner makes contact with the dura mater through the access points it increases the flow to release the stored blockages so healing can begin.

At the first Spinal Flow appointment, the practitioner will perform an assessment of the seven gateways of the spine and posture to determine where there are spinal blockages, what type they are, and how long they’ve been stuck inside your nervous system. With this information a treatment plan can then be discussed, and your journey of healing can start.

For a much deeper and profound level of healing with this modality, we offer weekend retreats! It’s a weekend designed for releasing deeply rooted layers of stress from your nervous system and starts you on your healing journey.
