Stress on Your Body.

In today’s world there is stress everywhere. Work, bills, functions, things needing done, family, children, elderly parents, even simply driving is a stress, and the list goes on.

It’s no wonder people’s stress levels have increased over the years. They don’t stop adding to their “to do” lists until they feel as if they have no time to do anything else. They’re overwhelmed by their own life. People have actually cut out their own “self-time” for relaxing and filled it with more things to stress about. This is not a healthy choice yet most people seem to follow along this path.

Stress is becoming a serious health issue that everyone seems to be oblivious to. Stress is one of the leading causes of health problems today. Illness, heart attacks and even death have occurred due to the underlying issues of stress. Isn’t it time for people to start taking their stress levels and health seriously?

The human body can only handle so much before it starts collapsing under the weight and pressures of stress. Pushing ones mental and emotional capacity to their limits until the body starts breaking down with illness is not wise but seems to be a way of life anymore. Exhaustion, fatigue, lowered immune system, headaches, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, chest pains, TMJ, internal organ malfunctions, increased toxin levels, fibromyalgia, and the list goes on endlessly for the things stress can lead to and cause. Is this really what people want… what you want?

So, what can be done to prevent these things happening to you?

By setting aside a small amount of time for yourself will help fight against these things and be a preventative towards illness. No one can or will take care of your health but you. It is ultimately your responsibility and choice to make the time for yourself. There are no excuses.

To start all you need is 60 short minutes a month to reduce your stress levels? (That’s only one hour in 30 days). The are a number of ways to reduce the harmful stress levels in your body. Massage, Reiki, yoga, meditation, and smudging are the leading ways to lower stress. That’s correct, they’re not a luxury like people think they are. It’s taking care of your health in a holistic healing way.

These ancient healings are becoming more relevant throughout the medical field. Hospitals, doctors and even specialists, are now using and recommending these health modalities to their patients as an alternative way to heal, jumpstart their immune system, and boost their patients’ health while decreasing their stress levels.

They are more prominent today than in recent years because people are becoming more health conscious and looking for better ways to care for their bodies. The awareness of the benefits of these ancient healing practices are continuing to grow as more people see and feel their health becoming better with each of their sessions.

Massage reduces stress, toxins levels, while providing relaxation and a relief of pain, lowering the risk of illness and improving your body’s health.

Reiki reduces stress, balances the body, mind and spirit, promotes healing, while providing a calmness and peacefulness throughout, again improving your health.

Yoga reduces stress, strengthens muscles, increases mobility, decreases anxiety, improves balance, and more improving health quality.

Meditation reduces stress, relaxes muscles, reduces depression, enhances self-awareness, and helps improve many other health factors.

Smudging reduces stress, boosts positive moods, releases stuck energies, purifies the air, provides may benefits in health.

All of which have many more benefits, not listed here, that will help and improve your body’s health. They are all beneficial and are healthy for your body, mind and spirit.  Take control of your life and start kicking stress to the curb!
